Jérôme Chouraqui, after obtaining his Graduate Degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Sorbonne (Paris I) and a PhD in Private Law, specializing in computing law (Paris XII), began his professional career in 1994 conceiving and administrating prestigious websites... (La Maison de la France, Relais & Chateaux, BNP Paribas) at PSINet-Calvacom.
In 1998, he created NPTV, a start-up providing technology for interactive television programs, where he managed a diverse workforce of engineers and creatives. NPTV raised 17.5 million euros from private investors. In 2007, the digital television activities of the company were sold to Netgem.
In the meantime, Jérôme helped found The médiaClub (2004), an association for professionals of the broadcasting industry which today boasts some 1,000 members and 4,000 guests: managers, entrepreneurs, creatives, liberal professionals working in television, cinema, music and new media.
Jérôme’s leadership in the association, being charged with the development of the professional networks and careers of its members, gives him a unique expertise regarding the French broadcasting industry’s job market.
Through his experiences with The médiaClub, Jérôme quickly discovered the need for a training organization aimed at preparing the leaders of tomorrow’s Media. Thus was born The Media Faculty (2008), in which his knowledge of the traditional audiovisual industry and his understanding of the present-day digital revolution collide to provide a complete training experience.
Jérôme’s involvement in The médiaClub and The Media Faculty gave him a special expertise in the media industry’s human resources, naturally leading him to develop a devoted recruitment firm, TalentSphere (2008), which he now runs. Clients include TF1, BeIn Sports, Euronews, Eurosport, Endemol and the BBC, for who TalentSphere has been charged with finding producers, development leaders and CEOs.
In 2019, Jérôme embarked upon his latest venture, Talentlinkr, a digital platform for talent-sourcing provided to in-house recruiters and talent acquisition professionals. ‘Talent sourcing 3.0: The best talents, personally recommended’.Read more
