Hi, I am Miguel Sanchez the Founder, Creative & Technology Director of Mass Ideation, the Bronx-based creative and technology innovation consultancy/idea factory specializing in creating world-class innovative experiences and startups.

I also am a Co-Founder of Metabr...onx, the number one diversity-focused accelerator in NYC, where I both accelerate a diversified group of underrepresented entrepreneurs, while also mentoring disadvantaged youth in business and technology by – providing impactful internships where students work with startups, development stage companies, and accomplished executives. MetaBronx is a New York State 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and accepts donations.

Prior to creating Mass Ideation, & MetaBronx I spent about 8 years in the New York digital ad world designing, developing, and animating interactive experiences for some of the biggest brands in the world as a freelancer. In 2009 looking to work more with brands and agencies on innovative marketing projects specifically I founded Mass ideation, where I took my experience and began to lead teams to create experiences for brands like Google, Pepsi, IHOP, and Viacom to name a few.

Realizing there was a dire need for minorities and other marginalized groups to see technology as a viable career path I moved my business to the Bronx in 2012 and began partnering with nonprofits, to teach technology to disconnected youth. Once there were a large number of young people learning about technology in the Bronx, I realized the diversity problem in tech would not allow most of those students to gain much-needed experience, so I needed to help create more minority and women entrepreneurs to fix that problem. I then Co-founded the first-ever accelerator in the Bronx, MetaBronx to help solve the problems of the other 99%.

Through my company Mass ideation, I have currently worked with The City of New York, MIT, Havas Media, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and the American Museum of Natural History on innovative interactive and animated experiences. I am also advising dozens of startups on fundraising, product development, and traction strategies while introducing hundreds of young people a year to the innovation economy through MetaBronx.

This year I have created a partnership to have Mass Ideation invest and coach 10 startups that will be investable through Equity Crowdfunding. We have begun the process and are already working with companies that will be launching campaigns in the coming months.
