Bio:
Roman was born in 1990 year in Elista, Republic of Kalmykia (south of Russia) - the world capital of chess. He is mixed Kalmykian and Korean living in Russia.

At the age of 16, he graduated a high school, music school, art school, hold degrees in taekwondo, viet-vo-dao, football and entered the leading Russian technical university – Moscow Institute of Physics and Technologies.

At the age of 19, he started his professional career at Deloitte, then – Citi, Amway and RMI Partners.

At the age of 24, he was appointed as an Investment Director at $110 mln venture fund FortRoss Ventures. He closed 14 deals in such companies as Uber, Gett, LendingHome, eToro with total amount of $35 mln and raised additional $25 mln for the second fund.

At the age of 27 (2018), he tried to launch its own venture fund of $100 mln and failed with raised soft commitments only on $15 mln. After that, he accepted a job offer on the position of CEO at a Moscow car sharing company. He managed 57 people, doubled revenue and led the company to profitability.

At the age of 28 (2019) he founded its own startup in mobility in Amsterdam – AnyWay.city. He graduated from three leading startup acceleration programs in London (IoT Tribe), Berlin (Start Alliance by Berlin Partner) and Moscow. His startup was awarded as the top-20 the most promising startups by Techstars Mobility Accelerator in Turin, top-5 startups selected by McKinsey Digital for BMW in Berlin. In addition to investments Roman raised, he invested all its savings in the business even sold its car. At the beginning of 2020, he had to close the startup as its clients (car sharing operators, rental cars in Europe) closed the operations due to COVID19.

At the age of 29 (2020) Roman founded from scratch a venture studio for startups – Tyan Digital where he as an advisory and external business development expert with a unique experience both in venture capital and startup building consult startups on growth, business development and strategy. His studio helped Arrival ($3b valuation) entered to the Russian market, acquired car sharing clients in Europe for SumSub, raised investments from Alchemist for UVL Robotics in the US and other cases.

Additionally, Roman is an active volunteer in charity centers, invited speaker at top conference in mobility and transportation - MOVE UK, member of Guinness World Record (the longest business pitch marathon, Bochum), blessed by His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama and bright enthusiast in creating new ventures.
