Currently a Creative Mentor and Co-Founder of WHIZ Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy; he is also one of the National Leads at Climate Launchpad Armenia (European Institiute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) - Climate KIC's global cleantech competition initiative - the world's largest green business ideas competition) and one of the co-founders at Global AM.

Recently a Vice President and Deputy Director at Technology & Science Dynamics Mr. Galstyan has been a long-time IT and High-Tech Senior Expert, National Consultant in Technological Innovation, Business Consultant, Project Manager and Coordinator in a line of private business and international projects, including UNIDO, USAID, AEPLAC, EUAG, UNDP, WBG, UNCTAD/WTO, VOCA and many more. His achievements, vital experience, entrepreneurial ecosystem development knowledge, business development execution, project management skills and consultancy services are indispensable for the organization's development and strategy.

His latest civic activities list includes - Climate Launchpad Armenia (Board member, Mentor), New Technology Education Fund (Head of the Board of Trustees), Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP Judge), Imagine Cup Armenia (Jury Member), Armenia Startup Cup (Jury Member) and IT Development and Support Council of Armenia (Board Member).

Within last years, actively working on startup/entrepreneurship development ecosystem in Armenia he was active involvement in organization of Climate Launchpad Armenia - Startup Ideas Competition, Mergelyan Creative Club, Cleantech Armenia: National Business Ideas Competition, 1st World StartUp Cup Competition, Armenia StartUp Cup Competition, Smart Solutions for Smart Countries: Business Forum (Digitec), Imagine Cup Armenia: Startup Contest, ATS Awards: The best Armenian Startup of the Year, Digital Solutions for an Innovation Economy: Business Forum (Digitec), Global Entrepreneurship Week, Startup Boot Camp, Product Camp Yerevan,

Mr. Galstyan has also worked at Forbes Armenia as an Advisor to the Chief Editor, at E-Armenia Foundation as an Executive Director, at the Armenia Development Gateway as a Project Director, Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Communications as a Deputy Head of the Laboratory and Senior Associate of Science. His working experience also includes Armenian Development Agency (ADA) as a founder and Deputy Director, the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a Head of Department of Investment and Export Projects and the Ministry of Privatization and Foreign Investment as a Chief Specialist and Team Leader. He has also worked as a Team Leader at Export Promotion and Development Project of UNDP. Other UN-related jobs were working as an Independent Contractor for UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and IT National Consultant for International Trade Center.

Mr. Galstyan holds MBA, BE degree in Systems Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Technical Translation (English Language) and Certificate of Harvard Kennedy School in Science Technology and Innovation Policy. Read more
